Mangku / バリの僧侶

Mangku is bali hindu priest and sound like " monk " 

they are so busy everyday, for birth of baby,
and build new house and so many ceremony he attend.
every village has many mangku and mangku for village,
mangku for temple and wife of mangku study bali hindu,
and become assistant and mangku too.
they have to be natural and wearing always white wear
which reflect evil spirits.
here is some of my Mangku series painting.

マンクーはバリヒンドウ教の僧侶、
サウンドはモンク（monk)に似ています。
各村には3つのお寺があり、神の山アグンの方角にカジャの寺、
海の方角にケロッドの寺、そしてその真ん中には人の為の寺があります。
各寺には僧侶が居てMangku Dalemと呼ばれ、
村の僧侶はMangku Dasaとしてそれぞれの儀式を司ります。
自然のままに生きる為髪の毛も切らず、ひげも剃りません。
奥さんも僧侶として主人のアシスタントをします。
口紅も何もつけない自然体なのです。
沢山の儀式が行われる毎日はこのマンクー無しでは
始まらないのです。

Flower in my garden

It is interesting to watch energy of flower blooming day by day, I look at them every morning to see how they bloom and fall, I almost to see breathing of flower by morning light, it is disappointedly short time for blooming, painted by inspiration from my garden. 

朝の光を呼吸する植物達、毎朝咲く花、散る花を眺めていると自然の繰り返されるエネルギーに感動する。強い太陽の光、強い雨の水、強い風にも負けない強い生命力はその代償として美しい花や実をつける。あまりにも短い間の咲き誇り、それらを記録と記憶で絵にしました。
